Your tenants refuse to move into your recently renovated retail establishment on the basis that it’s haunted. Can they legally refuse to perform under their leases?
We're about to find out.
I don’t know exactly what to make of this one. There are religious freedom issues involved but they also appears to be a huge and unverifiable loophole that could affect all commercial transactions if allowed as a legal defense.
For example, according to this story, some people along I-95 might be entitled to a rate reduction in their car insurance.
