| Quote of the Day |
| A room without books is like a body without a soul. |

A trend?
No surprise.
As the pace of legal decision making accelerates, and devlopments such as computerized research capability and the advent of online resources, like Findlaw and Law.com, the days of learned treatises (i.e.”books”) may be a thing of the past.
It could be true, as suggested, that Professor Tribe declined to publish Volume II of his Constitutional Law treatise because he is a frequent litigator before the Supreme Court, or he hopes to be a candidate for the Court, himself, if a Democrat is elected in 2008. In either case, publication of the volume might be problematic.
Nevertheless, even cynics must concede that the internet has changed how we manage legal information. Maybe the days of learned treatises are over. Let’s see if it’s a trend.
